人々がキリストを知り、キリストの中で成長するよう導くことによって、神に栄光をもたらすことを目指している当教会の新しい施設への移転の手助けをお願いいたします。

ストーリー | THE STORY

  • マスタードシードクリスチャン教会東京は、2020年3月に礼拝を開始しましたが、パンデミックのため、数ヶ月間オンラインでの礼拝を余儀なくされました。感謝なことに、秋には、毎週移動しながらではあっても、対面での礼拝を再開することができました。パンデミックの全期間、教会を導き、成長させて下さった神に感謝します。

    Mustard Seed Christian Church Tokyo began in March 2020, but due to the pandemic, the church had to meet online for several months. Thankfully, in-person gatherings were resumed in the fall, though still having to move to different venues each week. Throughout the pandemic, we are grateful for God’s guidance to help this church grow.

  • 2021年11月、ライフレイとの協力関係のおかげで、マスタードシードクリスチャン教会東京は、渋谷駅の近くに一時的な会場を確保することができました。この建物に移転することで、安定が与えられ、教会メンバーは90人以上に、毎週の礼拝出席者は平均175人に、受洗者は25人に増えました。今では、この建物が毎週手狭になるほどに成長したことを喜ばしく思います。

    In November 2021, thanks to our partnership with Liferay, Mustard Seed Christian Church Tokyo secured a temporary gathering space near Shibuya station. This location has provided stability as our church has grown to over 90 members, with a weekly attendance of 175 and many baptisms. Unfortunately, this space was only to be used for 2-3 years max, before the building would be torn down.

  • マスタードシードクリスチャン教会東京は、現在の渋谷の建物が手狭になるほどの成長期を迎えています。礼拝堂に100席あるにもかかわらず、第一、第二礼拝の合計出席者が200人に達したこともあります。より多くの人を歓迎するために、2023年春には第三礼拝が追加されました。原宿駅から近く、渋谷から徒歩15分の場所にあるこの新しい建物は、数百人が入ることができます。私たちは、神が何を用意し、導いておられるのかに胸を膨らませています。

    Mustard Seed Christian Church Tokyo is entering an exciting season of growth as it outgrows its current space in Shibuya. Despite having only 100 chairs, attendance has at times reached over 200 people across multiple services. To accommodate more individuals, a third service was added in spring 2023. This new space, located near Harajuku station and just a 15-minute walk from Shibuya, will provide space for several hundred people. We eagerly look forward to what God has in store for us!

 

施設について | THE SPACE

この建物は、原宿駅から徒歩2分の場所にあり、教会の収容可能人数は2倍以上になります。また、世界で最も利用者の多い2つの駅から近いので、アクセスも良好で、人通りも多いです。さらに、日本で最も有名な神社のひとつであり、年間1,000万人以上が訪れる明治神宮付近にあります。

The new facility, located just a two-minute walk from Harajuku station, will more than double the church's capacity. Situated between two of the busiest train stations globally, the location is highly accessible and trafficked. Additionally, it is adjacent to Meiji Jingu, one of the most famous shinto shrines in Japan, that attracts over 10 million visitors annually.

 
 

協力関係 | PARTNERSHIP

当教会は、御国思考のソフトウェア会社であるライフレイと、相互に経済的に支援し、都市部の建物を有効活用を可能にするために、建物を共有する予定です。この新しい施設では、数百人の人々を教会に歓迎することができるようになります。

The church will share the building with Liferay, a Kingdom-minded software company, allowing for financial support for one another and optimal use of urban space. With the new facility, the church will be able to accommodate several hundred people.

 

ニーズ | THE NEED

この施設への移転を可能にするためには、752.5平米の施設の改築と、新しい機材の購入のための資金が必要です。ライフレイも経済的に貢献して下さいますが、さらに4500万円 (約32万ドル)が必要です。この金額は、ライフレイとの協力関係と、現在の円安のおかげで、比較的低額となっています。世界的に見てもまだイエス様を信じていない人々が非常に多く集まっている地の真っ只中にある、成長中のこの教会への献金を検討していただけないでしょうか。

To make this expansion possible, the church needs funds for the renovation of the 8,100 ft2 space and new church equipment. While Liferay will contribute to the costs, an additional 45 million yen (~$330,000) is required. This amount is relatively low due to the partnership with Liferay and favorable exchange rate. Please consider making a gift to support this growing church located in the heart of the world's largest concentration of lost people.

By God's grace, we have the opportunity to open a new church facility in the heart of Tokyo. We kindly ask for your prayers for Mustard Seed Christian Church Tokyo and for God's glory to be known in our city.

  • 明治神宮を訪れる年間1000万人の参拝者のために、神が彼らの心を開き、偶像崇拝や先祖崇拝からの悔い改めに導いてくださるようにお祈りください。

    Please pray for the 10 million visitors to Meiji Jingu shrine annually, many of whom are seeking lasting meaning and a loving God. Pray for softened hearts and repentance from idol and ancestor worship.

  • マスタードシードクリスチャン教会東京のこれからの時期のためにお祈りください。神がリフォームのための経済的な必要を満たして下さり、より大きな建物への移転がうまくいくように。建物の所有・管理会社と良い関係を築くことができるように。多くの人が福音を聞き、この真理を信じ、洗礼を受けることで、この施設が神の栄光を表すために用いられるように。これらの取り組みを通して神の教会が成長するように

    Please pray for the upcoming season of Mustard Seed Christian Church. Pray for God to provide the financial resources needed for renovations and the successful transition to a larger facility. Pray for a positive relationship with the building owners. Pray that this space be used for God's glory, with many hearing the gospel, believing this truth, and being baptized. Pray for the growth of God's church through these efforts.

    Pray for other churches in the city of Tokyo to be planted and be places where people can find hope. Pray for more laborers to be raised up and help serve these churches. Pray for Mustard Seed Network in its mission of planting 12 churches in 12 cities by 2025.
